"I was only able to have one child. I was pregnant with triplets, but I lost all three of them. Then, I was able to have a son. He's 25 and married now. He's a good boy. I love my baby boy. I call him every day. I talk to him every day.
As a mom raising a son with a blood disorder, I couldn't work because he was always in the hospital. My ex-husband went to work. We had to have some money.
I ended up on the streets because I had no place else to go. The shelters are full. All the cots are taken. Places want to charge you, but I'm homeless - I don't have any money to give. Some places are humiliating to be in.
You gotta do what you gotta do. Being a parent is a wonderful thing, but it is a challenge."
