"I was eighteen years old and a division one college soccer player. I found out I was pregnant the first day of classes my sophomore year. I had just transferred to Louisiana State University and had lived in Baton Rouge for only three weeks. I was born and raised across the country in Phoenix.
The employee at Planned Parenthood gave me brochures of abortion clinics nearby in Houston. I had barely just began to know and follow Jesus... that night I flipped open my Bible and it went to Psalm 139 (the first and last time God spoke to me directly in this way). I read Psalm 139:16 for the first time. 'Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none.' By God's grace, I made the decision to keep my baby and my family allowed me to come home.
I graduated from Arizona State University in 2015 and I now work for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as a full-time missionary doing campus ministry at ASU. My daughter, Peyton Grace, will be four next week!"
